Wild Boar
Wild boar were hunted to extinction in the UK around 300 years ago. But due to animals escaping from wild boar farms and illegal releasing, the wild boar population has now become established again and it is thought there are around 2000 now living in the UK. The largest population can be found in the Forest of Dean. They have few natural predators and are prolific and regular breeders. Their diet is predominantly vegetarian but they will capitalize on any food source that presents itself. Damage to agriculture can be extensive if the numbers are not kept under control. Deer Management Solutions are able to provide boar control, ranging from your garden to large areas of farmland. In most cases we are able to do this for little charge, and being located next to the Forest of Dean we can usually get someone to you ASAP.
